As you have probably discovered by now, sustainability is a complex matter with many aspects to consider.

The same can be said for deciding what materials to include in your collections. Combine the two, and you can very quickly find yourself overwhelmed by environmental, social, economic and financial considerations and issues.

To help you avoid this, we have created a material guide, containing all the information you need about the different materials and fibers.

The guide includes a thorough description of each material, its production process and existing alternatives.

Each material is rated in terms of water use, chemical use, social issues, environmental issues, animal welfare, price and availability.

Consult the guide when creating and planning external as well as internal communication and in the design process. Enlighten yourself and your customers, so we can all make better choices.
